Etsians know Georgian artist Angel as AppleDainty, purveyor of "cute culture." She is currently a student at the Savannah College of Art and Design, studying Sequential Art in order to persue her dream of becoming a comic book artist.
She describes her style as "elegant and cute at the same time," and recalls always having a love of crafts and drawing. "Mom is an artist, too, and started teaching my brother and I oil pastels and colored pencils at young age."
Somehow she manages to work full time while finishing her degree - and still finds time for her passion: her craft. "I take it seriously and try to offer the best products I can - from production and packaging to customer service." She plans to "establish (herself) and (her) artwork as a brand with a wide variety of neat crafts and collectibles." She sincerely hopes that her "customers' lives are enriched by (her) art, and that they love the items as much as (she) loved making them."
"Hang on for the ride," she advises fellow Etsians. "Running a business is tough stuff, but if it's what you love doing, then it's totally worth it." Please check out her Etsy shop: http://appledainty.etsy.com/
